Icann is by far one of the most slippery organizations with power over the Internet. What power they have they seem to not want to make known. In fact Icann should best be seen as a scam designed to faciliate the flow of domain names from the masses to the few. Not only does Icann allow registrar abuse. It also sits as judge over the registrar hacking wars. Icann has a hidden agenda to facilitate the flow of very good domains like licensedattorneys.com to the rich by various means. Even possibly tampering with the dns. Nobdy knows what icann really can do. but we do know they have a power to reroute traffic from a domain and god knows what else. Whats even more scary is that it seem to be a pit stop in the life of a hacker. Getting a foot in icann learning th ins and outs of the Dns will put you in peak hacking power. And since icanns revolving door policy is so stable. Crooks are able to peek at the internets inerd and then go out into the private sector and out compete the competion based on that info. Which only leads to the question that icann should be government controlled and desinged to prevent this type of exploitation
